Many people mistake talent for anointing. This has led to churches endorsing talented singers, actors, athletes, and other “stars” as being in God’s favor. In actuality, much of what the gifted person does or promotes goes against Bible teaching. Pastor Flemons shows that we all have gifts and the anointing of the gift depends upon whether the gift is fully submitted to the Holy Spirit. Anointing always leads to a greater understanding and acceptance of truth even if the truth is impopular.
